industrial lighting from Brady, Texas

A few weeks ago we spent a Saturday in Brady, Texas
at my husband's cousin DeAnn's
new antique store, D&J's Good Ole Days, in the town square.

We picked up a light for the newly redecorated office.
It's the perfect shade of green with white interior.
My husband hung it with a little old pulley at the top.

We also picked up a larger one in silver
for the dining room.

My husband even replaced the switch covers
for these with new ones that allow us to dim the lights
to the perfect brightness.
These big lights can be pretty bright.

We picked up a few other things there
that I'll show you later.

I have another post planned to show you
all the pictures I took of their store.

  1. Hi Gina, it's been forever! I just met a girl this past weekend from Brady that owns a shop there too. I'm going to have to visit this place really soon. Hope you're well.

  2. I too recently picked up one of those Fab Green Vintage Industrial Lights and an Old Pulley to mount it on. Have yet to decide exactly where I will hang it though, so it's still in Project Phase. *smiles* Love Industrial Accents in the Home...
