Well, it's jealous...
'cause I found this one!
It's a beautiful chair...a little rustic, a little industrial
with burlap, weathered wood and nailheads on vintage leather.
I bought it from the same person's booth
where I found the first chair.
It's the awesome booth "Bountiful"
at our Lonestar Antique Mall.
So, I put this one in a corner of my kitchen
and moved the other one
next to my kitchen table island.
They're a perfect combination.
A few weeks before I found the chair, I found this pretty little thing.
beautiful weathered wood and sparkly old crystal door knobs
Somebody made it and I got it for a steal,
less than the cost of one of those knobs.
I hung it on the wall...
...under my old cabinet that holds
my collection of vintage silver and glass
...and above that new chair.
It's a great place for someone to sit and join me
while I'm in the kitchen.
We've got a couple of giveaways coming up.
The first one will be up on Monday!
haha,,,a yelous chair?? :)

I'm jealous and your are right those door knobs are expensive.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! I too love the vintage doorknob "rack"! I have one I purchased long ago but the knobs are the ceramic kind. It's been a coat rack, a bag rack and a dishtowel rack... currently it's waiting for it's new home which is undetermined.

Love both chairs! The little door knob hanger is really cute too!
ReplyDeleteCan we go shopping together? PLEASE?
ReplyDeleteThe new chair looks great!

Those three items were meant to be together. I love the worn finishes, especially with the glass doorknobs.
ReplyDeleteYour new blog header looks great, btw!
I love the way you put all the weathered wood items together! A little weathered, a little sparkle, what's better then that! You certainly found some great things!

I'm jealous! I've been looking for one of those old desk chairs for a long time! That coat rack is beautiful~the whole corner is.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pieces and a great little corner. The chair is lovely but I am seriously drooling here over the crystal knobs. BTW, I changed your blog link in my sidebar to reflect the new COTTAG3 name, don't know why I didn't do it sooner :)
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous chair! It looks great next to the coat rack. I am still in love with that little cabinet on the wall too.
ReplyDeleteI love the weathered beauty of everything in this photo. That chair is awesome.
ReplyDeletevery cool.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! It's perfect for your kitchen.
ReplyDeleteMy mother has a similar chair I keep warning her I might kidnapp sometime.
