Chalkboards...

Since I love chalkboards, I thought I would show a few around our house.  Can't wait to check out how others use chalkboards in creative ways.

We have an old chalkboard that hangs on the pantry door so we can leave notes for each other, write little reminders to ourselves or so my son can draw and write funny things for us to notice.

This cute little two sided chalkboard lives on our front porch.  One side shows our family number and the other side is used to make signs for holidays, events or just to say 'welcome.'
What's up with our family number?  See the post called "3 is the magic number."
An old window with chalkboard hangs as artwork with the lyrics of our family song.

Not actually chalkboard.....
...but could be!
This is a dry-erase wall in my son's room.  We painted it with dry-erase paint that you can usually find in stores next to chalkboard paint.  It's not chalkboard but it's just as cool!  He loves this wall.

  1. I love that dry erase wall in your son's room...I've never seen that stuff and my daughter would love it! Maybe a project for this weekend. That chalkboard sign at your front porch is too cute.
I have one chalkboard pic in our kitchen but we don't use it that often.
    Happy Friday to you!

  10. Love the dry erase but can't stand the smell of the markers...gives me a headache. But that's so cool that they have a paint for that as well. Love all your chalkboards! Your significant number is 3 and ours is 13...both my sons were born on the 13th...one in April and one in July and my first date with my husband was on a friday the 13th of August! Visiting from Chalk Talk. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Fondly, Roberta

  11. Can you tell me how you attached the chalk board to your pantry door? I've been wanting to do the same thing but not sure how to make it work.
