Barn Sale

My pal, Jennie, and I had a little fun today. We went to a Barn Sale in Grapevine, Texas. The Shabby Sisterhood, Nancy and Julie, have a great barn and some really fun landscaping and we had fun looking around. We'll go back the next time they have a barn sale and hopefully I can post in advance so any of you who are in the area can go too!
Here's what you see when you first enter.  See that awesome metal green awning?  Jennie had her eye on it but just couldn't commit.  It would have looked great over her kitchen window.  She's still thinking about it.
Here's the door to the barn.
Inside the barn...it was full of great stuff.  This is only one side of it

Isn't this a cool door?  Give you any ideas?
There were a couple of chairs that had been recovered in old quilts.  This was in a blueish turquoise and red and the other one was in softer colors.  I might have bought the one in the softer colors if I had a place to put it.
Here's table in a great soft green made out of a chicken crate.  Now that I'm looking at this picture, I didn't even notice the big jar on top.  I might have snagged that if I had paid attention.
We figured this cool old thing was an early miter saw.  It was interesting.
There was some great cottage furniture there too.

Here's another view of the table and some other great stuff.
Here's some of the back yard area around the barn.  There was some great stuff here. too.
Vintage plates were used as a border for a garden area.
This is a HUGE (8-10 feet) teepee.  The owner said kids love to play in there.  We peaked in but didn't actually go inside. We saw a cute stool in there though.
I picked up this pink "G".  I know this is pink ribbon month and I support that big time but pink isn't really my color for something living in my house full time. So, I think a can of spray paint is in this "G"s future.  I predict that's gonna happen really soon.
I also picked up this great bucket.
If you look closely at the top, you'll see an imprint of some letters and/or numbers.
Can you see them?  They look backwards to me but I couldn't really see them from the inside of the bucket.
Looks like they say (backwards) "O T S" and a "6" underneath.  Whatever it is, I like it.

If you haven't had a chance to make a guess on my Fact or Fiction post, there's still time.  I'll post the answer in a couple of days.
